An exceptional Rookwood vase with a delicate hare's fur glaze. Most Rookwood was made of cast pottery although some pieces, like this, were cast porcelain. This piece is marked with the Rookwood mark, the date mark and with the "S" mark indicating that the glaze is "Special" and not a standard Rookwood glaze.
